Privacy policy

You can read the daily pick, the track record and the numbers without creating an account.

Reading the site requires nothing

The daily pick, the track record and the numbers are public. You can read all of it without an account, and we do not ask you for anything to do so.

What we store if you create an account

  • Your email address
  • Your password, stored only as a hash and never in readable form
  • Your subscription history
  • Sign-in logs, kept for security purposes
  • The prefix and creation date of any API key you generate, never the key itself

The free email list

Joining the list stores your address, the date you confirmed it, where you signed up from, and whether you have unsubscribed. Nothing is sent to an address that has not confirmed it, and every message carries a one-click unsubscribe link. We do not sell, rent or share the list.

Audience measurement

We count page views ourselves rather than through an analytics provider, and we set no cookie. Each view records the page, the site that referred you, any campaign tag in the link, and a fingerprint of your visit. That fingerprint is a one-way hash of your IP address and browser, re-salted every day: it lets us count how many people read the site on a given day, and it makes two visits by the same person on two different days indistinguishable. Your IP address is never written to the database. Raw rows are deleted after 180 days.

Keeping robots off the signup form

The signup forms carry a hidden field and a minimum delay, both checked on the server, to stop automated submissions. Neither collects anything about you.

Third-party keys

API credentials for the AI and market data providers stay on the server and are never written to the database or exposed to the browser.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe, which acts as the payment processor and is the party that sees your card details — they never reach our servers. We receive and store the resulting customer and subscription identifiers, the plan bought and its dates, so that access opens on the right account for the right sessions. Stripe processes that data under its own privacy terms.

Access and deletion

You can ask for a copy of your data or its deletion at any time by writing to contact@tickbird.ai.
